My teenage son loves coming here for his stylish haircuts, raved about by his best friends & their parents, we had to come check it out. Family owned establishment that always guarantees a laugh & a smile before you walk out. Thank you so much Mike for now being Jayden’s favorite barber in all of San Diego in the 4 years we’ve been here!

My first visit to Ray’s exceeded expectations. The female stylist who handled my beard trim and haircut was outstanding—skilled, professional, and attentive to detail. The gentleman, likely the manager or owner, was equally welcoming and created a comfortable, professional atmosphere. Excellent service, fair pricing, and one of the top barbershops in San Diego. Highly recommend.

This man is an angel! My hair is coming out because of chemo treatments and I just couldn't stand seeing it come out by the handfuls. Today, I decided to take control, I went in and he was absolutely wonderful buzzing all off! I can't thank him enough for his skills and kindness!

This was my son’s first time at a real barber shop, and Ray’s in Lakeside did not disappoint! The laid-back, friendly atmosphere made my son feel like one of the guys and also part of the family! Even better, the cut gave him the confidence boost he was needing for starting school. Heads-up: they’re cash only, worth every penny! We’ll definitely be back!
