I have a stoma and have been having issues and need to see the doctor desperately. No one else will see me. So what am I supposed to do? Everytime I call the mailbox is full. Help me.....
It would be nice to make an appointment. I have called 3 days in a row several different times through out the day and never have been able to talk with anyone. I was very disappointed this visit 3-7-18. I came in with a fistula....(had one in 2014, went to see him the next day he did surgery and it has been great until the last 2 months). This visit he gave me a compound cream that the pharmacy was out of and insurance does not cover. 2 days later no RX or anything. I am in severe pain, burning, bleeding and hurts to sit. I asked him if ins. covered the RX he said oh YES. The RX is not covered by insurance. 30 gram tube $80.0o if it comes in.

Very pleased with the doctor and the staff, he listens for details and answers your questions, the staff helped me find an appointment when i was in pain and scheduled me for a procedure, didn't have to wait long, it has been only three days since the procedure and i am already feeling good, they called the next day and checked if everything was OK with me and if i have any questions, the nurse is helpful , she answers your emails and phone calls right away. i highly recommend him.
Poor office communication & made scheduling errors . Little to no post surgery review on how the surgery went. No bedside visits post surgery- Stood at doorway instead. Gave minimal descriptions of procedures prior to 2 surgeries he performed - Ileostomy & reversal. Did not and would not have chosen this surgeon but went straight to surgery from the ER (Medical City Plano) . (SIDE NOTE: avoid this hospital ).

Dr Stan himself does good work. My husband was diagnosed with diverticulitis, colorectal cancer stage 1, and a hernia that Dr Stan took care of surgically. However he seems to have little to no experience working with leave of absence paperwork. We have gone through the ringer twice now trying to get accurate info to my husband's company in a timely manner. His leave is nearly over and they still haven't gotten it sent in correctly.

Over 7 months trying to get well & not wanting to have surgery, I searched for a Dr. to trust. I saw one Dr. w/high reviews of whom I did NOT think highly of & decided to go elsewhere.Tried different things to get well on my own from reading other peoples advise on the internet for a fissure and hemorrhoids.. fasting for 5 days, I realized I wasn't going to heal to so after careful research I finally found Dr. Staniunas. I am very pleased w/the surgery & wish I had not waited so long.AAA***
Stay away from this Doctor and staff. They did not help me basically ripped me off thousands of dollars.

Dr. Staniunas was great! I was nervous about having a colonoscopy, but the doctor put me at ease. I had absolutely no discomfort following the procedure.
