I met Dr. Tesner many, many years ago. I was being treated by OSU medical team. I was on crutches, anti-inflammatory drugs and periodically couldn't support my own weight and would fall down. The University dr.s started to say it was all in my head. I was making my knee swell. A friend stopped me at the student union and pleaded, don't let the University dr.s hurt you. My experience with Dr Tesner was the best. Great Dr, and even better surgeon. He did both my shoulders. Great gifted man.

Dr. Tesner performed my ACL/Meniscus surgery. He was very straight forward with me and my expectations on recovery would look like. He said if my meniscus doesn't heal I may have to go in for a 2nd surgery, but I never had to! Thanks to Dr. Tesner I was able to have 3 years of being a collegiate athlete!

Had complete reconstruction ACL knee surgery 5 yrs ago by Dr Tesner. To date I have no issues with my knee. I did exactly as he told for rehabilitation and I've been good ever since. Took about 3 months before swelling, strength and full mobility came. He's a straight shooter and doesn't beat around the bush, which I liked.

Abrupt is an understatement; bedside manner lacking; accusatory tone. Demanding "Take your shirt off!" Sched appt for 8 am abt a wk later which should have given ample time to review my existing med record as had prior tx by him a few yrs ago; demanded to know when- repliedd 2-3 yrs ago. I also resent providers that do not wash their hands in my presence. Did not wash his hands either time came in exam rm & 2nd time proceeded to give injection prepared elsewhere. Error doc location site & shot!!

WARNING: Make sure you call up your Health Insurance for MRI Coverage before you even start any Physical therapy with Dr.TESNER. He doesn't care to check if you have coverage or not. MRI shows more than a Xray. Not a good doctor, PLZ make sure what you are getting into and question Dr.Tesner. if you have any worries, etc. Make sure you research before agreeing to any treatment with him. On my first appointment with him today. He just wanted to give me shots and throw me to DO Physical therapy

I visited dr tesner 3x for what i was sure was rotator cuff tear. He kept saying it was my deltoid and gave me steroids. I finally got a second opinion and guess what.....50% torn rotator cuff. It wouldn't have been so bad but to add insult to injury ever time i went in to see dr tesner iwouldn't get seen for about 4 hours after my appointment time. Avoid sports grant medicine and dr tesner.

Dr. Tesner has operated on my mother's knee and my father's shoulder and they wouldn't have gone to anyone else. My mother calls him a miracle worker. 10/10, would recommend!
