I had a bilateral coronoidectomy (which means they cut part of my jaw bone on both sides) with fibrotic tissue removal. Not a small procedure. I was told I was going to go home the same day, but the pain was so bad I ended up hospitalized for two days. Dr. Harshbarger? Never showed his face. Never came to check on me. I was referred to Dr. Harshbarger by Seton ER. I had an injury that needed surgical attention as soon as possible. It took me 6 days to get an appointment. When my appointment came, Dr H spent about 7 minutes, only briefly described the procedure, barely looked at my eye and wasn't very friendly. His office then scheduled my surgery for almost a week out and after a couple of days called me back and pushed it further out 3 days. Don't let the smiling face fool you. I've been to his office twice. The first time, he was sullen and rude to me and his attending nurse. I left feeling like I was puting him out by asking for care. For my second appt, I arrived 10 mins early, checked in, and was escorted to an exam room. Fifty minutes later (5-0!!!!), I left because I needed to get back to work.
