Very friendly office staff. The whole staff gets involved and tries very hard to make a new patient feel welcome. In my opinion they try a little too hard. My daughter is shy and can be slow to warm up to people, but everyone there was right in her face and did not give her a chance to warm up them. She ended up crying and wanting to go home. I told Dr. Katz that it wasn't going to happen that day and he said that it would if I wanted it to, that if I let my three year old call the shots all she would eat would be ice cream.... read more
My 8 year old daughter has been see katz for the last 3 years. I got the recommendation for D. Katz from a number of different sources. Katz is kind, considerate and gentle with her (she is very pain-shy). Katz's treatements has always been flawless. He takes an interest in every patient (and parent) and takes a lot of time to explain treatment options. My daughter has a lot of over-crowding and crooked teeth. This is my son's dentist. Very chatty and goofy. Kids get a toy prize afterwards.
We have loved our experience so far with Dr. Katz and his staff. My kids are always relaxes during their visits.

We feel so incredibly fortunate to have finally found Dr. Katz and his office. This is the way a pediatric practice should be--he genuinely loves his job, and makes it a point to really connect with the children. He makes it clear that their comfort, their positive experience--and their dental health--are truly his priority. Wonderful with children, really wants them to have a positive experience. Always calls in the evening to make sure they are o.k.,
cheerful competant, appropriately not agressive. My kids like going to the dentist!
