Happened upon this cafe on the way to Toronto. Very friendly staff and tasty food. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and temperature HOT! Wins my vote!
Our second time there. Food was great both times. Service was on point. Such a friendly atmosphere. Def our go to spot when we’re in Canandaigua.
RecommendedI love Rays Restaurant !!! The most amazing meals, something different!! something delicious ! The staff is always helpful, fun filled, and friendly. Its a relaxing atmosphere. Our waitress was Julie, very attentive, funny, great personality and did a great job.

Great breakfast, good service, very nice place
Rays has been our favorite breakfast place as long as we’ve lived in Canandaigua (little over a year). Lately it has been nothing but disappointment...last weekend we ordered takeout for breakfast, got home and had to go back to have the order corrected. The owner was apologetic and offered us a gift certificate. We came in a week later, today, for breakfast. Service was great and food wonderful. Pancakes are the kind you crave later when the left overs are gone!
My classmates meet here monthly in the back room for breakfast. The food is delicious. The staff are pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend RAYS. 5 STARS for sure.
Very nice place to have breakfast. The best coffee flavors. We were visiting out of state and will return here when ever the chance
