Was excited to book online for a Monday morning appointment. When at the salon I confirmed what service I was having done (gel-x the appointment I booked online) and I was told the person who does that what not there that day. I proceeded to get a regular gel manicure and was knicked on five different fingers when my cuticles were trimmed.. which was seen when I flinched numerous times. Nails came out okay but was upset to not get the service I booked and to now have five different little cuts on my fingers…
I’ve been coming here for almost a year and have never had a bad experience. I’ve had gel manicures, nail art, regular manicures, and pedicures and all have turned out well. The nail techs are kind and great at what they do. Also love that they have a different reality tv show playing every time I go!
Gel mani didn’t last one week even :( I will say though, that when the gel manicure chips off, it doesn’t seem to be taking other nail layers with it! But still very upset bc this is the first experience with a gel manicure that hasn’t been long lasting for me
I never used to get my nails done. Ever. But I came here because it's around the corner from my place and I wanted a gel mani/pedi before my best friend's wedding. I will say my first experience wasn't amazing, the gel started to peel in a day or two, but only the manicure. However, they fixed it when I got back to town. I appreciate how clean everything is. Floors, stations, tools — all well kept. That alone makes me comfortable coming back.
