I attended the 6:00 PM class on June 9, 2026. The trainer Mares Ospina was demonstrating an exercise that I cannot do because it always causes pain in my knees. She came over to me, pointed at me, and asked why I wasn’t doing the exercise. I explained that my knee hurts when I do that movement, and she responded, “So why are you here?” I do what I am physically able to do, and I am not obligated to perform every exercise, especially when it causes pain. Really nice gym, well maintained and very clean with friendly staff
I went to this class even though I have a bad knee as I had knee surgery six years ago and I still can’t do things like jump squads or high intensity workouts so maybe this place is just not for people who have injuries. I told the trainer that I couldn’t do jump squads, and when she was going over the 19 workouts for the class, she said she was going to make us do jump squads if we didn’t do certain things so I felt like my concerns were not listening to at all.
