I have been going to Dr Ravindren for over 25 years. He is an amazing physician with a great deal of knowledge and experience. My case is very complicated and he comes across as an expert in CIDP.
First of all the office staff leaves a lot to be desired! Ravindrens nurse, assistant is wonderful and caring. The Dr however, was horrible. We wasted two years seeing this man, my sister had been having cognitive issues. He took one look at her and said sleep apnea, and needs to lose weight. Every time we went he said the same thing, and was in and out in 10 minutes. She did the apnea tests, had the mri’s, as well as lost weight. I finally had had enough, I begged our pcp to refer us to another Dr. we were able to see a Dr ... read more
Doctor Ravindrin is a wonderful diagnostician!!!! In 2011, he disgnosed my Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) quickly enough to be able to be cured within that firs day in the hospital. Thank you Dr. Ravindrin!
He is a bit taciturn, but has done an excellent diagnostic job for me on three occasions and gone out of his way to provide urgent information and advice as well as collaboration with other physicians. I recommend him strongly.
The physician has excellent credentials but I found his relationship with me as a patient to be demeaning and condescending. He seemed angry and ignored my attempts to ask questions or give input. He failed to listen or provide any information as to what my problems or issues were. I thought I was going to have the best neurologist in the area but found my appointment disappointing and essentially non-productive. The nurse and office staff were nice but trying to get someone to answer the phone to schedule an appointment was... read more
His credentials are outstanding but he is personally rude and does not listen. Can be very demeaning towards patients at times.
I had never been to a neurologist before-- after 10+ years of excessive tiredness/fatigue, I found Dr. Ravindran. My grandmother who had dementia went to him, so I thought he would be trustworthy. Rather, upon Dr. Ravindran first walking into the room, he asks me my BMI and how tall I am+refers to a BMI chart posted on his door. I know I am overweight, and I'm not opposed to the idea of weight loss, but I know it is not the reason I fall asleep standing up. Any attempt I made to ask questions or elaborate, were shut down and... read more
I have had many visits with Dr Ravindrin. I have returned to his care many times after moving out of his area and the service is always the same: prompt., curious and knowledgeable. I have recommended him many times since he first diagnosed me with MS in 1999.
My neurologist for 20 plus years. Very smart and committed to helping.
