I transferred from my prior pain management doctor (who never gave me any pain relief after 6 injections) to Dr. Mirpuri because my friend received so much benefit. On first meeting he had great bedside manner and was very knowledgeable. I was impressed by his background and multiple publications. He reviewed my MRI. He wanted to do an epidural different than my last pain management doctor. First helped some and second one took all the pain away. I'm pain free now at 6 months!
Dr. Mirpuri, while very nice, seemed very inexperienced and his epidural made my husband's back pain worse. When I called him about the ineffectiveness of the epidural he suggested we see a surgeon. The surgeon informed us we needed more pain management and rehab. When we expressed our doubts about going back to Mirpuri, he sent us to his pain management provider who reviewed Dr. Mirpuri's notes and determined the procedure was done incorrectly. Once she treated him he got immediate relief.
I came in with shoulder pain and back pain that I had for 3 years after a vehicle accident. Dr. Mirpuri gave me 2 injections on different dates. I still have an occasional ache but I feel 95% better. I wish I came to him earlier. He was very patient with me and spent time to address both problems.
This medical group is making money from unnecessary testing. They don't even let you know the scope of the testing or the costs involved before they begin. They do get your signature when you are in pain and desperately in need of relief for a simple urine test they give "everyone." Dr. Mirpuri explained my condition to me in layman's terms and his recommendation for therapy and pain management. His doctor-patient manner is professional and warm. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns. I am so happy that Dr. Mirpuri was recommended to me by my primary care physician.
I have total confidence in Dr. Mirpuri and his staff. He always presents all my options in dealing with my pain management. He is patient and answers all my questions. Most of all, he is empathetic and reassuring. I am grateful to have him as my pain management physician.
Very pleased with Dr Mirpuri, he has helped tremendously with my pain. Took time and very compassionate. I will definitely go back to him.
Dr. Mirpuri spent time with me to hear all my issues. Very caring doctor and offered me multiple treatment options. He just gave me a couple shots in my back and I can walk much better without pain.
