I saw Dr. Mootha due to not being able to urinate or fully empty my bladder. I explained where & how I have to apply pressure in my vaginal area in order for me to get any urine out. He did not run any tests but instead said to try a bladder friendly diet & stop drinking the 8oz of coffee I drink daily. Three months later at my follow up appt, I explained it’s gotten worse. A fantastic doctor and clinic in every way. Dr. Mootha took the time to thoughtfully answer all of the many questions I had, and the procedure itself went great. It is clear that he is extremely intelligent and overall he is probably the best doctor of any specialty that I've dealt with.

I was very pleased and impressed that he listened and explained processes for my robotic prostate surgery. I had the expectation that I would at some point in time have sexual function after this new nerve sparing prostatectomy. Well, that is not the case. I had my procedure in August 2011. I came out of surgery with small hernia. It is now August of 2018 (7 yrs later) and I still have no sexual function. And if you don't use it, you loose it.
This doctor was consulted through the emergency room at Baylor/Plano for my husband who was diagnosed with kidney stones. During two ER visits and one hospitalization he never even presented in person to discuss my husband's care with us. He made one phone call and did not show any concern for my husband's condition when I spoke with him. We will NOT be following up with him as requested but will find our own urologist.
Dr Mootha has TANGIBLE EMPATHY for his patients! He is very PROFESSIONAL and a Valuable asset to the MEDICAL Community!
I had a vasectomy this afternoon. I was nervous about the procedure and Dr. Mootha put me at ease. To my surprise I didn't feel a thing during the procedure. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this doctor to anybody considering getting it done.
Dr. Mootha and his staff were great. I was super nervous and they really handled it well. I was very impressed. Also I experienced no real pain, not really even discomfort either. This is an A++++ office.
great service, very convenient, and the 1 visit vasectomy procedure was painless and recovery was easy. Highly recommend!
