It was easy
I've never had a procedure performed prior to this and I was as nervous as one could be. Dr. Mootha and his staff were supportive and understanding after I explained my concerns and level of anxiety. They explained the procedure in its entirety and the expected sensations during the procedure. Dr. Mootha explained again while performing the procedure and used conversation to ease my nerves. Booking the appointment was easy. I paid the required deposit but the procedure was covered by my insurance so I got a refund minus the office visit copay. The was very nervous about the procedure. On the operation day, the procedure was quick, fairly painless and Dr Mootha talked the entire time which made the already, roughly 15 minute procedure, go be even faster.
The visit to Dr. Moothapractice was great. Scheduling was easy. The facility and staff are great. Dr. Mootha has great bedside manner and made the procedure smooth and stress free.
I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Mootha. He spent a lot of time reviewing my condition and recommended surgery. The surgery was very successful and my quality of life has improved considerably. I was on a lot of medications with side effects that I was able to stop after surgery.
After extensive research, I selected Dr. Ravi Mootha for my vasectomy. I drove 2 hours to have my procedure performed by him. I was very pleased with the high level of professionalism of the doctor and his staff. The procedure was much easier than expected - nearly painless. I had a very smooth recovery and my 3 month sample check was 'all clear'. I have recommended him to several friends considering a vasectomy.
Mootha failed to 'appreciate' (his own words) my husband's wide spread metastatic prostate cancer for months, resulting in his death. A radiologist indicated test results that were worrisome for stage 4 cancer, and Mootha didn't bother to read the results, despite my husband's pleas to help with the horrible pain he was experiencing. Mootha postponed a scheduled TURP surgery 3 times over a month, and when he finally was going to do the surgery, my husband was then diagnosed at the hospital, but by then the cancer was so wide... read more
