I've been a patient of Dr Rasi for the last 3 years ever since he moved to Methodist. I moved my doctors to Methodist because of him. He's got lots of personality, always smiling, and makes you instantly feel at ease. His staff are also courteous and wonderful. Never have I met a doctor who listens to his patients so much, but also tells them what he thinks in an educational, but never overbearing way. Pro tip : Sometimes the wait is more than I would like, but good doctors are in great demand so I get it. But I've found tha... read more
I completely trust him. He’s very direct and pragmatic, which I prefer.
Love this doctor. He is so smart and can explain anything in the most simple terms. He explained to me how my heart failure is causing me to have swollen legs and difficulty breathing. He sees my brother and parents as well. We consider him our family doctor not just our cardiologist.
I was worried going to see Dr Rasi Wickramasinghe since my primary care doctor asked me to see a Cardiologist. I am a highly educated individual who reads a lot and I went to see him armed with a series of questions. Dr Wickramasinghe immediately put me at ease with his infectious smile and sense of humor. He answered all of my questions, but pushed the discussion along. He even gave me more articles to read about my condition. I left my appt feeling far more informed than when I came in.
have had dr razi for about 5+ yrs. explains procedures, diagnosis, treatments and recommendations well.
Had my first experience with Dr Rasi. Waited for about 35 minutes to see him but boy was it worth it. He is extremely smart and explains things so clearly that I left there feeling like I finally understood what was going on. Highly highly recommend him. If you don’t believe me, go and experience for yourself!
Fantastic doctor. Very good visit. Would highly recommend
Dr Wickramasinghe is one of the most thorough doctors I've encountered. I had to wait about 45 minutes to see him, but he apologized profusely (turns out a sick patient in the hospital needed him and he had to start clinic late), but the level of attention to detail, care and compassion I received was top notch. He did not rush me, allowed me to speak, listened intently, and gave me advice in non-overbearing manner. I've introduced several of my family members to him. Absolutely top notch medical care!
Went to see Dr Rasi. You won't find a more caring doctor. I was going through a lot of financial hardship (no insurance) and family anguish and was scared about my heart. I paid out of pocket for the visit. He was so kind and caring and full of personality. He was initially typing on his computer and when I started to get emotional he stopped, and sat down with me. Spent at least half an hour with me and encouraged me to wait until my family issues were over before he did any testing. He could have made money off me by order... read more
