Dr Rasi took care of my late husband until the moment he passed away. He was dying of heart failure, and there's nothing nobody could do for him. But Dr Rasi tried and he tried very hard. That last night he died I will never forget because he was at our bedside at least five times. He genuinely cares about his patients. We are not some number to him. When my husband finally passed, I could sense that he also felt our pain.
First of all, he goes by Dr Rasi, and this caused some confusion finding him. He has the best smile and he really cares. When my father was at Methodist Hospital and dying, he took care of him like it was his own father. He gave us his cell phone number and asked me to call him anytime, and when I did, he actually picked up the phone and spoke to me. After my father passed away, my mother decided she wanted him to be her cardiologist and when I need one, I will also be choosing him. He is a gem!
This is an amazing doctor. Very rarely do you get to see someone who cares about you as much as he does, not as a number, but as an actual human being. My dad was on death's door when he showed up to the hospital and it was God's grace that he was the cardiologist on call. He spent three hours saving his life at 2am and spent another half hour talking to us about what happened compassionately, honestly. He is a man of God. We are so blessed to have found him. You will love him and his office.
This Dr saved my husbands' life. He went to Memorial Hermann with breathing trouble and they were thinking it was nothing. Apparently his EKG and labs showed nothing. Then Dr Rasi was called into see him. It was a Saturday and he decided to wait until Monday but decided to bypass a stress test and take him for an angiogram which showed that his heart artery had a 99% block. He stented this and my husband is doing great now. To think what would have happened had we not met him. Highly recommend
Absolutely wonderful doctor. My father was seen at his office for chest pain and he never pushed him to have an invasive procedure. In fact, he told him that he did not think that the symptoms he was having was due to heart disease. He reassured us and even provided us information about how my father should lose weight. He is caring, compassionate and took more than 30 minutes of his time to explain everything to us. One of the best cardiologists I have ever seen. I highly recommend him.
I was sent to Dr Rasi by my primary family doctor. What an amazing doctor. Registration was quick, he saw me within 15 minutes and spent all the time I needed with him. I was having palpitations and had gone to at least two other doctors and he placed me on a monitor and in two days figured out what was going on. Medication was started and in three days my symptoms were gone. Best part of it, he gives his cell phone number. I mean who does that? But this man does. What a gem!
Primary care send my father to him for check up. He was feeling fine. He told me my father needs to have heart procedure because he is "confident he has extensive heart disease ". He did not do any other testing and the only option he kept talking about was heart catheterization. He did that - told me his heart looks fine - no heart problem. Send us home. That evening he bled from the groin, ended up in the other hospital, needed blood transfusions and groin surgery. Do not recommend!
One of the best doctors I have ever been to. He has a wonderful personality, full of smiles and will sit down and make you feel like he has nowhere else to be. I was sent to him by my primary doctor because I had a lot of palpations. He drew pictures out and explained to me what was happening and spent at least 20 minutes describing what he was going to do. He put me on a monitor that I wore for 2 days and on my follow up started me on meds. Two days later I was completely normal. What a doctor!
Saw Dr Rasi in the office on the keen personal referral from my family doctor. Boy am I glad that I visited him. He has a busy office but I loved the fact that he took his time to explain everything about my atral fibrilation (afib) including drawing out diagrams for me. His office staff is amazing too. Check in was fast, and although I waited for a bit, I had no regrets since when I was with him, he seemed to have forgotten that he had a busy waiting room. That's what I love about him!
