As an authentic Jamaican, why did this restaurant give me overnight rice that has been sitting in the fridge then try to hide the age of the rice with a whole bunch of sauce turning the plate into a bowl of rice and oxtail soup . I can taste the hard and soft at the same time. I will never go back to this place I wouldn't even recommend change the name the southern cuisine
I loved this restaurant but they closed it. And I have no idea if they moved somewhere else. The oxtails were AMAZING!!!! My favorite. Update: I've been trying to find this review that I made years ago Rashe's is now on Vine Street and Icouldn't be more excited. It is every Friday for the oxtail for me!! 😉
We had Rashe bring her food truck to cater our outdoor wedding party— it was an absolute hit! Rashe and her son did an outstanding job with the food and service. The soul food is some of the best I’ve ever had (born and raised in GA so that’s saying a lot, don’t tell my grandma) and the Caribbean cuisine is unmatched (have lived and spent a lot of time in the islands— her curry chicken and spinach pate are unreal).
