This wonderful melanated Queen is a powerhouse. She was my psychiatrist during my severe depression I experienced from tremendous grief of losing 2 immediate family members at one time. She understood me as a Black woman and really took her time with me. I was very skeptical with using antidepressants due to substance abuse issues in my past but she coached my way into it and focuses on other ways to help like TMS.
