My mom is currently in the ER and has to stay overnight. She’s been there since 10AM and has had nothing to eat she asked twice with no follow up. I told her to ask again and they said the doctor didn’t write what kind of diet she needs to be on.......so she just has to starve because of that??? Not pleased about this at all. Then she has no way to alert staff that she has to use the bathroom. She waited so long for a staff to respond to her that she had an accident. An incompetent staff who ignores the family when their loved ones are on the hospital. They lose information on patients during shift changes that is vital to the patient and wishes of the family with power of attorney. My family member could have died because of them and their lack of care and communication.

RecommendedFast track ER.. 10 ⭐️’s. Bryar, Serge and Kim made me feel so safe and cared for. For the extent of my injury, I was in and out in less than 4 hours, which to me was amazing. Those 3 were heroes to me in a scary time yesterday. I will NEVER go to any other hospital in fact, once recovered, I will be applying for part time employment at the amazing facility! Horrible experience. My 80yr old aunt was petrified when she was at Hackensack hospital. A nurse had berated,embarrassed and made her cry. My aunt made me promise not to say anything to the staff out of fear. So the day of her discharge I spoke to a nurse and when I told her about a women named Marlrett Dawnson and how verbally abusive she was to my aunt, the nurse told me she was a nursing assistant that had been there a long time and has had many ,many complaints against her and nothing is ever done it.
