I've been at JSUMC for four days with my 17yo son and will likely be here a couple more days. I cannot say enough good things about our stay! The staff have been so incredibly helpful and kind during a really scary time for us. From the ER, nurses, PCAs, residents, doctors, specialists, food staff, everyone has had a smile, a pleasant attitude and a wonderful bedside manner. I’m writing yes to this but currently my Barbra Marshal is still laying in the hallway; has not received any medications to alleviate her pancreatic pain; has not had a sip of water; it’s been over 2 hours; she had a major medical injury that changed her life years ago while she was laying in a bed in a hallway exactly as she is now. This can cause severe flashbacks of what happened to her years ago... it can also increase her already concerning flood pressure... Please address this patient with care.... you have A SAINT lay... read more

One of the absolute worse medical centers. Most of the staff is way under qualified for what they’re doing. Seems to me they pick people off the streets and just hand them jobs! Should consider maybe getting a more polite, more educated staff.

I do feel that the quick response, quick check in at the ER and patient respect is rated highly here as well as visibly clean premises and fast service. However, I have to include this message: I really wish hospital staff and primary physicians would stop telling BII recipients that all we need Is a psychiatric assessment. Anyone who has a brain can comprehend that a foreign toxic substance placed inside the body can wreak havoc within that system! People who have a medical degree should know better because people who don’t... read more

Doctors should pay more attention to their patients and also check with their primary Doctors .I've been there enough times and have to ask how come my doctor is not here.The nurses there are the best
