Property Management company is horrible DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. When asked on their responsibilities, Eric said "maintaining the property and keeping it habitable". Yet, they allegedly have no responsibility or liability for fixing areas of the property that has been broken into, nor is it their alleged responsibility to put in preventative care to protect tenants from defection. Mike and his team were superb in their communication, attention to detail and ease to work with. Why did I spend a year struggling to deal with other developers unsuccessfully when I could have got what a wanted from Rarebird so easily?!?!

I lived as a tenant in a property managed by Rare Bird from 2017-2018. From the start, they went above and beyond to be helpful. I did a virtual tour of the apartment with Mike. After moving in, Sonia was responsive to every maintenance request or question I had, even when the outcome wasn’t what I hoped for (eg, more trash bins - thanks city of Portland for that biweekly pickup). We are all from out-of-state and moved to Portland a couple of months ago. The search for housing was made incredibly easy with RareBird's expansive property portfolio. Constant communication with Chris Shaul gave us the confidence to sign the lease before seeing the property in person. Chris has done a great job of responding to calls, texts, emails, etc. promptly. Also the RareBird online portal makes it extremely easy for tenants to pay rent and submit service requests.
