RecommendedGreat restaurant, food was excellent. Built in 1915, very rustic. Rooms for rent, within walking distance of grand lake and has a beautiful river that flows just outside the restaurant.

Had lunch there...what delightful gem. ADORABLE interior,cozy fireplace sitting area, low rafters ceilings very romantic ambiance.The views of The Rapids are spectacular!. Our waitress was so thoughtful and helpful. I had the corn chowder with pork , more like a mild chili perfect on a cool fall day. The salad that came with it was delicious, very fresh, spinach , romaine, red leaf lettuce , cucumbers, tomato slices and thick shreds of Parma cheese. Love everything about this place! The rapids are beautiful and the restaurant is Devine. I highly recommend their accommodations. We come here as often as possible.
Beautiful view. Very nice folks and great room. Right next to stream. Little outdoor area. Cool place for sure.
A great place to relax with the beautiful sounds of water cascading over the boulders in the stream just outside your door. ‘Twas great to see moose too at RMNP right up the road. Maybe about time to retire here!
Grand Lake is stunning and has a lot to offer- but as far as restaurants go it can be difficult to find fresh and light options for meals. The Rapids Lodge restaurant was a welcome break from the overwhelming heavy foods in downtown. Plus, you can’t beat the view- you’re right on a gorgeous running river that provides a relaxing and scenic atmosphere. I stacked two rock roses in the river so don’t know them over :-)😊
The food was delicious, service was exceptional and the view fantastic.
