i do not recommend this Doctor. She tries to over charge, office is dirty, staff calls in wrong dosage for meds. You really have to check and double check appointments, scripts etc. or you may get the wrong thing. We got different explanations from each office staff as to why we were being charged extra money. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Not professional in our experiences.

I am a caregiver who who works with a slice of the population who depends on a psychiatrist to be able to function. Left msgs because of patient concerns with new meds, and got no response until I called back 2 days later. Told to take the patient to the hospital for evaluation more than once. Have little confidence in this Dr to truly care for the individuals I work with. Been going to Dr Rau for 6 months, will not be back. In my opinion, patient care is poor.

Scheduling: Easy. I called presumably when the office was closed and left a voicemail on a Friday. Was called back on Monday and scheduled an appointment for the same week. Visit: A lot of patients in and out. Scheduled for 9:30am seen almost an hour later. She was very thorough and asked questions and allowed me to ask questions. Great first visit in my opinion.

Even though I was her patient for 10 years or more, I've experienced same as unsatisfie34o634o6 and worse. Make sure you get monthly statements. It's all about the money. Office staff turn over was constant and a couple of them down right rude. However, Rao did help me in improving my mental health and in giving me advice.

I just moved back to Griffin and I am looking for a good psychiatrist. I am on Medicaid. I just read that last review and if it is true then I do not wish to go there. NEVER GO TO THIS OFFICE! I had an appt. for 8:55 am. 7/6/10. Was 5 mins late because it was hard to find. The receptionist informred me the wait would be 30 to 45 mins. I filled in all paper work as a new patient, gave it back with license & ins. card. After waiting til 10:15 and seeing a patient called back that arrived after I did, I went & asked again how long it would be. Her reply; at this time I just don't know sweetheart.
