Did not feel rushed. Answered my questions. Listened to me - very important. Explained so I understood.
Dr. Rank listened to both me and my spouse about the concerns and treatment.
This was my annual visit and check in with a provider I have not seen before. The visit itself was very perfunctory and lasted only about five minutes. I did have concerns I wanted to discuss with the provider as I have had two serious illnesses in the past year, but after the first few minutes, I was very much aware that this provider was not a listener. Therefore, I chose not to disclose at this time.
Dr. Jeffrey Rank was very knowledgeable and answered several of my questions before I even had to ask them. He made sure to explain in ways that I understood and was very patient with all the follow up and hypothetical questions I had. He was very respectful of how nervous I was and I left feeling well taken care of.
I've had Dr. Jeffery Rank for over 20 years, I can't say enough great things about him and how he has treated me. He is kind, professional, and his great sense of humo,r keeps him as my doctor.
I got the typical "limit drinking and lose weight" - all this before getting information about my BMI, how much I exercised, etc. Felt like a very limited, euro-centric, archaic, and basic suggestion for a patient. I would have loved to tease this out more and talk through the ways in which there are other solutions.
Excellent dr. who really listened.
The only issue is he talked a little fast.
Excellant Doctor, he understood my concerns and anxiety.
