I think RBQ is one the best places around it is clean and keep that way Randy and Robin look after their place.I know first hand.
The staff is friendly and on que and the food is awesome!

Ate at Randy’s during an overnight stay in Statesville. Best BBQ in North Carolina! Service was fast and friendly with quick refills on drinks. Had the small BBQ tray. Tried the red slaw and creamy slaw. Both very good. Hush puppies were best ever and big. French fries hot and fresh. Had the sliced bbq and tried two of the sauces. The waitress brought us little sample cups of the banana pudding - free because it was our first time there. Perfect ending to a great meal.
