I just got my braces placed today and I already feel my teeth moving. Before choosing Dr. Gittess I saw 2 other orthodontists. His office was the most professional office I went to. The staff are welcoming, the doctor for sure knows what he's doing and the fee was in the middle. In 15 months my braces come off. I feel good about the whole process.
Dr. Gittess and his wonderful staff had my girls feeling right at home. This is important because this being our family's first interaction with an orthodontist we didn't know what to expect. What we found was they have a vision of patient care bigger than the end result. They care about how we get to the perfect finish, explaining the process, addressing concerns and questions before we asked them and speaking to us, the Doctor Gittess and Adrie and Tia, in a way we understood. I am really impressed by Dr. Gittess and his staff. They are caring, happy and even funny. My 12 year old daughter and I felt right at home. Her braces go on next week.
I wanted straight teeth and at the suggestion of my dentist she did orthodontics for me. Things didn't go exactly as planned and after about 6 months, she referred me to Dr. Gittess, an orthodontist, who quickly corrected my sensitivity to cold and my open bite. She mentioned that Dr. Gittess treats her own kid's teeth. Both my dentist and Dr. Gittess agreed mine was an unusual and difficult case. I'm just grateful for Dr. Gittess's competence and willingness to help out.
My son and daughter were both beautifully treated by Dr. Gittess and his staff. His staff was the same for all 3 years we went there. The cost was right in the middle of then 3 consultations we had. They accepted our insurance, MetLife, and made a payment plan for my part. He doesn't fool around with fees. Since then, 3 co-workers have gone to him and we all talk about how we wish all our doctors offices were like him.
love his staff, assistants, and atmosphere. They are all so nice and so joyous; but he is the one who ruins it (only when he is there of course, since he only works like 2 days a week and his staff does all the work for him lol). I've always got this radiation of fakeness within his personality, but I thought i was just being judgemental.
