My Dear Mother was brought there in an ambulance on a Monday night . She was talking and had just had hip surgery from a fall . She had lived with me for 6 months and she was doing so well . Hospice had given her 6 months to live but my Mother was strong and did not give up no matter what . I’d ask them to keep her out of pain . In my mind it wasn’t a coma ! My mother’s death was a terrible experience here. I regret ever allowing her to go there. The staff were discourteous and nasty. They showed no empathy or compassion. They were condescending towards family members and secretive. My mother went there for respite, looking forward to it even, and through their neglect, ended up dying a week later.
