I have been a patient for over a decade and consider Dr. Solomon to one of the finest doctors in his field. He has not only improved the quality of my life immensely, but in fact has saved my life more than once. He genuinely cares about his patients, is an excellent listener and never makes me feel rushed or as if he is watching the clock. While his schedule is busy, he is extremely flexible and accommodating when an urgent appointment is needed.
Dr. Solomon has been a God send to me and my family. Because of his expertise he was able to diagnose our individual situations and proscribe the necessary medications and amounts. We all come in for follow up appointments to talk with him so he can evaluate how we are doing and to make any necessary changes to our medications.
I have been a patient of Dr Solomon for almost 10 years and was fortunate to find him at the right time. Having been on numerous medications, his approach has reduced them tremendously. He addresses the total persons concerns & problems and helps come up with solutions with a genuine concern and compassion.
Dr. Solomon has been my psychiatrist for over 15 years. He is incredibly knowledgeable, approaching my healthcare from both a scientific perspective as well as a therapeutic one. He always explains his observations and recommendations thoroughly and makes sure that I have full understanding at the end of each appointment. His approach to mental healthcare is thorough and I am grateful he is my doctor. The level of care he provides is far greater than others I have experienced on Long Island.
I am writing this review because I have been seeing Dr. Solomon for five years now and feel like I did when I went to review my divorce lawyer. It seems that people who are happy and satisfied rarely take the time to review the professionals who help them while those who are dissatisfied seem to want to scream their issues from the rooftops. I have NEVER had any negative interactions with Dr. Solomon or his staff and I think that it is important that satisfied patients have their voices heard.
I have been going to Dr.Solomon since 2010, seeing him nearly every week at first and then every 2-3 months later on. I would not be the mentally healthy and confident person I am today without his help and guidance. I am so grateful and appreciative of the care he has provided me. He has given me the tools to help live a mentally healthy and HAPPY life. It’s not all psychopharmacology with Dr.Solomon. He uses an integrative and multidimensional approach to psychology and mental wellness.
I've been a patient for many years. Dr. Solomon is above all, extremely competent, very compassionate and a great diagnostician. He goes out of his way to make himself available for urgent phone calls (on his own time) and urgent appointments. Not only do I highly recommend, I have referred several patients to him, they are equally satisfied with his care. Top notch.

The issue with any doctor is TRUST and there are very few people (and doctors) I trust. I've seen Dr. Solomon for 10 years for my OCD. He is one of the few doctors that I feel comfortable with. I also rely on him for general medical advice. Earlier in the year the office messed up a bit with phone problems (now I use texting with them which is better anyway) but more important to me is they get insurance forms right cause I get my checks soon after the appointment.
