Dr. Peyton is not only a highly skilled surgeon, he is also patient-friendly. He listened to me and my medical challenges and provided treatment that was most appropriate for me. I would rate him as one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the DC Metro region.

I had left hip replacement. The treatment and service I received from Dr Peyton and his team, and front desk team and physical therapy team was outstanding. Combined with Reston hospital I highly recommend Arthritis and Sports Orthopedic and Dr Peyton. From my first meeting I knew I could depend on him and everyone I encountered gave me the impression that I was important to them.
All good from precheck in to thorough exam and professional recommendations. Staff was friendly and competent and friendly. I will be back.

Dr Petyon performed my anterior hip replacement March 2024. I was able to return to tennis at a high level 4 months post surgery. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and expertise of not only Dr. Peyton but his entire staff. I would strongly recommend Dr Peyton to anyone considering an orthopedic procedure.
The scheduling staff is extremely unprofessional. You will not see Dr. Payton after the Initial appointment, he will be unreachable, you will only see the staff going forward no matter how serious your condition will be. They will NOT care. PERIOD.
I have been meaning to write this for awhile now as I have been so blessed by Dr. Peyton's partial knee replacement surgery. When I think about where I was 3 years ago (spring 2021) with severe arthritis and bone on bone in my right knee at 51 years old from multiple meniscus tears over the years (sports injuries) - I had no idea that I would be back to full activities and cycling as much as I have time for (70-90 miles a week).
