One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. He does not listen to you or your symptoms, nor does he take the time to thoroughly examine you or consider all the options. He decided my diagnosis before he ever walked in the door. Then, he actually got mad at me for asking if I could try an antibiotic (which ended up working!!) and stormed out of the exam room. Dr. Silver was pleasant & efficient. When I asked him how he came quickly to my diagnosis, he explained and I trusted his explanation and experience. His diagnosis was proven correct. He prescribed medication that worked. He made a referral that I recieved quicker than expected. I was treated with courtesy from everyone in the office. This was my first time seeing Doctor Silver. He was very virtuous and to the point but seemed rushed for time. Answered questions and made next appointment. I was impressed.

The worst experience by far I have ever had with a health care provider. He did not want to talk TO me, he wanted to talk AT me. Just walked in and started on a list of my diagnoses and medications and how he would not refill certain prescription but would start on another and all this without looking at me or asking any questions. I had to interrupt him to even say a single word. This was a traumatic, horrible experience.

I have sympathies for the difficulty of primary care practice today. As a retired internist, I did primary care medicine for 32 years. My visit with Dr. Silver April 4, 2016 was pathetic. He entered the room, barely acknowledged me and proceeded to rattle off a scripted review of my recent lab tests, never looking up. He ignored my comment about the possible inaccuracy of one test, wrote a prescription and walked out. An assistant give me a slip for a repeat lab test. It is very sad.
