I saw him for the first time yesterday. He immediately said I was on 7 times too much pain medicine and that he would gradually reduce it by 20%. (He actually reduced it by 25%!) When I asked him what if I had more pain, he said it would be all in my head! He said I was risking my life by taking such a high dosage. I’d been on the same dosage for 12 years with no problems! I went for a 2nd opinion another pain management place because what they were doing wasn't helping and they wouldn't recommend anyone else. So it took 3 hours in the lobby and an hour in the room. He finally came in he actually sat in the chair leaned it back against the wall with his hands behind his head. I have been seeing Dr. Oliver for 4 years now and I cant tell you how much he has helped me and my condition. Before I went to him, I was often passed around from doctor to doctor with getting no relief for my pain. Within the first year of going to him my health greatly improved. I am now able to do activities that I wasn't able to do. I feel like I have my life back now and I owe it to this man. I would recommend him to anyone in pain and is suffering. He listens and has great bedside manners. He is a wonderful doctor.

I work with Dr. Oliver and seeing him listen and care for his patients everyday is inspiring. If patient are willing to help themselves and wanting someone to find solutions to help manage their pain he is the guy! He is honest and committed to his patients and staff. Overall he is one of the best providers I could ask to work for and has taught me so much!

My toe feels great after Dr. Oliver injected Stim Cell therapy into it. I have not had any pain since the injection over two weeks ago.

Don’t dare tell him one of his injections didn’t work because he’ll take it personal and then call you a liar or say it’s all in your head. At yesterday’s appointment I told him my rheumatologist would be doing my injections from now on and he berated and yelled at me like I was a child in trouble and talked down to me like I was stupid. When I asked him not to talk to me like an idiot he told me to quit acting like one. I go there for pain management,not to be verbally abused. I wont be back.

Abrasive, short tempered, puts everyone in one box and does not think outside the box. Been in practice too long. Acts as though he does not like his job. Intimidating. I would definitely NOT refer him to anyone especially if you have chronic severe pain.
