Charged me 21.99% interest rate when I purchased a 2004 Chevy Aveo in 2005. Had to sell the car in 2006, and purchased a 2006 Chevy Aveo from Courtesy Chevrolet in San Jose at a rate of 5.99%. I know my credit didn't improve that much in less then a year. Seems like Rancho Motor's took me to the cleaners with the 21.99% rate that they charged to my loan.

I was in a situation where me and my husband are a young couple just starting out with no established credit, nor a co signer to help out, with a baby due next month and even tho my husband is in the military, he is only an E-2 and nobody was willing to work with anyone lower then an E-5.
