What an awesome place!
Heaven on Earth, in every way. Food is exquisite, the rooms are amazing, the staff & owners are charming and wonderful, the views and the land... even the drive out there.... the whole thing is just a dream!
Just a breathtaking step out of the usual, and a fantastic alternative to making the trek to an increasingly "too cool for its own good" Marfa jaunt. The affiliated winery and great pizzeria in town just add to the plusses you'll find everywhere here. Consider unplugging completely for a weekend away from Austin.
One of the most restorative places on earth. It's where we go to see a real sky, sleep like the dead, eat the best food anywhere and find ourselves again. It's hard to leave perfection.
My favorite get-a-way ever. Robert and Laurie are the perfect host with the perfect food and accommodations. You really do feel as though your a special guest at their dinner party. We always leave happy, relaxed and wanting to reserve for next week. Don't miss the winery when you go........ great small plates and wine
We spent our first honeymoon night there - and it was simply beautiful.
