I’m not sure if these two individuals are employed by your building, but their behavior has become a concern. They regularly sit on the corner smoking cigarettes throughout the day. In the mornings, when children are waiting for the school bus, they are also there smoking, which is inappropriate given the setting. Under new management thankfully. The previous managers were not professional and did not upkeep the building for years. They also played favorites and gave their friends special privileges. Pretty stupid how much damage was done to such a nice place. I'll give the new company a chance. So far it's been okay. The building needs plumbing and hvac work. The trash compactor needs to be replaced. Cosmetic updates are overdue: wall paint, new hallway carpets, nicer furniture. There are vacancies for the first time in a while. You ... read more
Been living here for nearly 9 years, always thought I was pretty lucky. We had a beautiful 3 bedroom before my husband died. But after he was gone, there was a 1 bedroom I could get right into (there are only 4 in the whole building). This building has more tenants than the small town I grew up in. Everyone is so friendly, and I've made some terrific friends here. I don't drive anymore, but the community is totally walkable to bank, groceries, dentist, streetcars, parks, and even two vets. The 1 star comment shouting online about pests had zero consideration for their neighbors. I've lived here since the Ramona was built and only once this summer have we seen a pest issue in our building. AND it was an issue that adjacent buildings were having as well because it's part of living in a highly populated area. I've seen nothing but immediate action from management on the issue.
