I am writing this for my wife. We have been seeing Dr. Matawaran about one year. My wife had an acute stroke 9 years ago. It affected her entire left side. Dr Matawaran has taken the most time with my wife than any physician we have seen and she has seen many. He told us on our second visit why she had the stroke and why more wasn’t done to mitigate the damage that was done. He is very through, explaining everything even thing you wouldn’t think to ask. My wife just loves him.
The best doctor I have found in Hampton Roads!! Thorough and precise! I have lived in this area for 8 years. I've battled thyroid issues and recently had pain that I thought was a heart attack. He is doing testing and digging up every rock to see possible root cause. Gives you his time and attention. Im very pleased and would recommend Dr. Matawaran!! Thank God I found him I believe he will help me find the root cause of my issues!
Dr Matawan is one of the most professional and dedicated doctors I have ever met in my life. He saved my life One Time only because he took that little extra step that most doctors don't. His bedside manners are above reproach.
Dr. Matawaran is the best doc I've had! When I moved away to pursue a new job...he was on my main list of reasons to stay. Ive never had any doctor call me on the weekend with test results....I was always amazed at how much he knew and remembered about me, and basically my whole life. I wish he could have moved with me.
