I have been going to Dr. Iglesias for years, he is thorough, professional, knowledgeable and reassuring (important to me). The office staff is the best, although I miss the previous office manager, this new team is great. I needed an Rx filled for my insurance pharmacy and I was able to email the form to them and they took care of the rest. Even called me the same day to let me know they had taken care of it...where do you get that kind of service.
You could never get an appointment when it is needed ,this guy is 3Rd world office and Find the staff very unfriendly

Sorry you were unable to obtain an appointment. Although we have a no walk-in policy, same day appointments are sometimes available. Appointments are nearly always available within 2-3 days. If an urgent appointment is needed, the staff will discuss it with me. BTW, you are the first to lodge a complaint about my staff being unfriendly. When comments have been made, they are complimentary.
Dr. Iglesias does not believe in making life easier for patients or embracing technology (lazy admin staff, no blood tests on site, no access to records online, no sending/receiving of emails, no facilitating patient interactions with Mercy hospital, etc.) If you have time for him (e.g. you are retired, don't have children, etc.), he is a doctor with good judgement. However, if you are young/need someone responsive, stay way from Dr. Iglesias. He will simply infuriate you.
Business response:
What my office embraces is optimal medical care, which requires a thorough history and physical examination, not fast, impersonal "assembly line" medicine. Rather than becoming infuriated, patients appreciate the time given to expound their conditions. You appear to value good clinical judgement, and the foregoing explanation is a prerequisite for this. BTW- posting date of your comment was days after the death of my office mgr of 24 yrs- only 1 med. asst and myself were running the office !
Incredibly professional and courteous bedside manner. Spends the time needed for the patient's issue(s) and doesn't hurry you out of the office. Always available, even when he was on vacation during this holiday season when I got very sick with Bronchitis. Returned my call to his answering service within minutes. Really excellent doctor. His staff is also very professional and nice; always willing to assist in any way possible with calling in Rx's, etc.
