Ive been a patient of Dr. Castello's for 7 years. I find him one of the most caring physicians I have been to over the years. He always takes the time to listen to my issues and is there when I need him. Wherever I go in Jacksonville,from the Mayo to Baptist Hospital, his reputation is excellent among his peers. The office staff is kind and professional. The new, modern and well equiped office is centrally located in Jacksonville directly next to Memorial Hospital

Tan agradecida, yá llevo 5 meses operada de mi corazón. Dr. Castello fué quien descubrió la condición llamada PFO (2 agujeros en mi corazón)acabo de cumplir 39 años y yá tenia 4 strokes, ningún médico encontraba la causa, hasta que llegué a la oficina de Dr. Castello dónde me hacen sentir en familia, su profesionalismo e interés por sus pacientes es increíble. Le pido a Dios que le brinde mucha salud para que pueda seguir ayudando a mucha gente. GRACIAS DR. CASTELLO!!

Excente médico y persona. Soy un hombre joven con 3 bypass y Dr. Castello siempre a estado pendiente a mi salud, fui diagnosticado con Angina de pecho, para nosotros a sido una gran bendición poder contar con un médico que se preocupe tanto por el paciente, que explique cada detalle, y nos brinde la total confianza de preguntar las dudas. Su staff es el mejor. No tengo que esperar en la oficina por más de 10 min. Desearía que hubieran más médicos con la empatía de Dr. Castello. Thanks

Dr. Castello and his office staff were phenomenal with everything regarding my care. This was my first visit to the practice as a patient. The staff made my visit very easy and more relaxed. Dr. Costello took the time and reviewed all medical information I had taken and discussed everything with me and my family member. We have discussed my plan of care and have a plan. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Castello. It is so nice to have a cardiologist very versed in all his areas of expertise.
My experience w/ this office and Dr. have been horrible. The Dr. was rude, condescending, and showed no empathy towards me as a concerned patient. In fact, he told me "don't be a cry baby". When I asked him a simple question about one of the tests, he responded by saying " I don't care if you do any of the tests actually. Its your health." When I had an echocardiogram done, the nurse's hand's reeked of cigarette smoke. It was disgusting to have her hands all around my chest smelling of smoke.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Castello. He gets very nervous when it has to do with his health, and Dr. Castello always takes time to explain everything in detail to him. His bedside manner is great and always comes in with a smile. He takes time to ask questions about my husband's issues, and then answers everything so my husband is comfortable with him before we leave. I would recommend Dr. Castello to anyone with cardio issues. He is amazing! We are very blessed to have him.

I would recommend Dr. Castello to anyone who needs a cardiologist He is professional, extremely kind and caring but more important he respects his patience and their Total Healthcare is his number one concern. He is very thorough during his exams and explains everything in a way that you understand the diagnosis and the actions that need to be done. His staff is helpful and professional always returning calls ASAP.
