I was denied service because I did not wear a mask into the office. Today, at the Tayani Institute, 653 Camio De Los Mares, Suite 103, in San Clemente, CA, I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and was greeted by a very RUDE office assistant/manager. She didn't greet me by saying "welcome to Tayani Institute", but my welcome was, “do you have a mask?” I said, no I do not. She said, "There's a sign on the door! Can't you read Sir?" I said if I need one can you please provide me with one. She said, “Yes, for $2.00”. Th... read more

I saw Dr Ramin Tayani for upper lid surgery but he advised me to do eye muscle surgery too. I trusted him but end up with cross eyes and double vision. He admitted that he did something at surgery but he will be able to fix it. Unfortunately he made my eyes worse even after the surgery. After the surgery I went to see him but he didn’t show up and he didn’t care at about my situation that he put me through. Im only 57 years old and never had eye problems. Then I heard he had done this to other patients and they all ended up ... read more

I was on the table, prepared for a minor procedure before I had even met him. He did not greet me by name, he did not introduce himself by name. "I'm the doctor", he said. He did not perform the procedure that was previously agreed upon with his assistant ophthalmologist. Throughout the operation he talked over me with his assistants about staff issues. The whole atmosphere felt more like an enterprise not medical care.

First appt was 2 hours the actual time spent with Dr Tayani was 5 min!! Did not feel validated or any type of compassion. His only concern was how soon could he operate. Not feeling this Dr is a person I would want operating on any family member.

I started seeing Dr Tayani in December for a complicated pseudo tumor in my orbit, I feel beyond blessed to have him as my Dr as well as advocate. Everyone in the office has been beyond nice and efficient. Dr Tayani has gone above and beyond to do the best for me and my care. I am forever thankful to him, we are still dealing with this and he suggested a 2nd opinion at UCSD and is just a very caring and knowledgeable Dr. Very blessed ??

Had to wait about 2 hours after my appointment to see Dr. Tayani. After finally seeing him, he gave no apology for my time wasted and spent about 3 minutes total for my eye exam. This is possibly the worst doctor I've ever seen in my life!

two cataract surgeries. First one successful; however it was painful. Second one was horrible. Natural lens fell back into inner eye. Emergency surgery the next day required. Partially detached retina.
