This doctor was great when he did a colonoscopy on me, but after that his lack of knowledge and what to do about my irritable bowel syndrome was horrible! After recommending a couple of treatments that did not work; he basically threw his hands up in the air and said there was nothing more he could do for me! He left me sitting speechless in his office as he just up and left the room. I was stunned! No doctor has ever just left me hanging! He did not even refer me to someone else!
Dr. Abbass is friendly, and his staff is nice, but he did not take my medical complaints seriously. After first meeting, he recommended a colonoscopy, which I did, even though I was 31. The day of the scope, I expressed my surprise at how punctual everything was, and I was taken in earlier than expected. The nurse said "Dr. Abbass runs a tight ship". I realized then I was taken for a financial ride. Later, when I told him my hemorrhoid bothered me, he shrugged, and that was end of conversation.
Very good Dr. He will sit down and listen to what you are saying. It took a couple of different tests to figure out the issue, but he found out what it was. I would recommend to others.
