I have been waiting patiently (or not so patiently!) for the South Austin Ramen Tatsu-Ya since one of the nice waitresses at the North location let it slip a year ago that they were opening one up MUCH closer to me. I am an Asian soup junkie, and Ramen tops my list of must haves, and I would say Ramen Tatsu-Ya is the most amazing Ramen I've had. I love the stuff. It is like liquid crack... With an egg in it...
Amazing ramen. Can't wait to have it again and again... Chashi was spot on, and the nori was even better than expected.
The Sweet and Sour Yodas sounded amazing so I was super bummed to learn that they're not vegan because of the fish sauce. However, I was happy that the cashier was honest with me about that and the mazemen was absolutely marvelous! I can't wait to try the veg ramen on a Sunday!
