Established in 2012, Ramen Tatsu-Ya takes pride in being one-of-a-kind in Austin. This restaurant attempts to recreate the typical feel of Japanese ramen stalls as found with its ambiance and food. As the name suggests, the specialty of this place is the ramen; the wheat for the noodles and the broth are prepared fresh, on-site, so you are sure to get only the best. Refraining from accepting reservations, Ramen Tatsu-Ya is an intimate space that can seat approximately 38 guests; get there well in advance to grab a table.

One of the best ramen restaurants in Austin, hands down! A must if you love ramen!
Second time here. Very fast, efficient and pleasant experience. I'm from out of town and I came in to Austin craving this place based on the impression they left on me.
No other ramen restaurant compares. There's no other way to explain their greatness.
The pork bone broth is superb - I had the 'original' ramen. Very good flavor pork belly and the egg was excellently cooked. Negatives - it needs more meat - one thin slice is not enough. Two slices should be standard. Also, I'm not old but the music volume is SO LOUD that you have to shout your order and good luck trying to hold a conversation over the table. Seriously, turn down the volume and add another slice of meat standard to the ramen and you will have a great ramen experience.
Flavors are amazing, chashu is like little rolls of heaven. Tried the 'original' on my first visit and am very glad I ordered extra Chashu. The music was the only downside, flavors of Japan and the music of Sixth Street... If they had Kotos playing in the background, would have to give them 7 stars.
The food is divine, incomparable. Dozens of visits, every menu option is the correct choice.
