Very good selection of Ramen.
Very flavorful beautiful broth ruined by too much salt
Technically I'd give 3.5 stars but that's not an option. It is very clean and beautiful inside. My partner and I were the only ones eating at the time and the server was very nice, left us alone but also made sure we had what we needed. The food though.. we both got the house special ramen and the second I tasted it I tasted Campbell's chicken soup from a can. If chicken ramen is your thing then Ramen Chikumo is a great, modern stop. Indoor and outdoor seating in (as of this review) a newly renovated part of Sawtelle. Inside is long and spacious, outside is spacious but not quite as much character. Neither of us was all that in to chicken ramen (although we do love chicken) so while a solid meal it didn't particularly stand out. Ramen and tsukumen are both quality, but there's a lot of quality ramen in the area so that's not enough on its own to really stand out.
