Great place , great location.
Made a reservation but husband got really really sick so we can't make it there and they refused to let us change the date or cancel. That's $100 I am losing on a tight budget over illness. Our friends and ourselves stay here in alpena at least once a month, but after this none of us will ever go back. The 3rd party we booked though even agreed that being sick should have been a good reason for Ramada to agree to at least change the dates, they reached out to them even and they told them no. Nice Inn with a comfortable bed in a convenient location
FYI May 11, 2024 Arrived back to the hotel from a wedding celebration, hotel claims that bar and restaurant hours are from 4 to 11 PM. At 10:52 the the staff working at the bar/restaurant claims that they are closed in spite of the fact that people are sitting in there having a drink. 1/19/26 Update Stayed here a week ago. Upon checking in front desk lady asked if we had any pets. I asked how much as we usually leave our dog with my brother who lives nearby. The lady said $25.
