I’ve found this VA to be really responsive and helpful. Highly recommend Ralph Johnson VA!
Hey just be careful of who your speaking with as the VA hires a lot of shady people. For instance if a patient advocate is arrested for domestic violence and mental illness they shouldn’t be working with vulnerable patients. There’s a Jonathon D Isaman patient advocate and he’s a very troubling man. Please exercise due caution when dealing with him and I’d advise never be alone in the same room alone with him.
I have been to a few VA hospitals and I can say that RHJ has never let me down. Great service and very efficient.
My mom had a terrible experience at the Ralph H. Johnson Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center at the Medical Records Department. Staff member named Pearl Griffin asked her for personal medical information in the public lobby, loudly and in front of other patients, which is a clear violation of my privacy. When she expressed her discomfort, Pearl became argumentative, raised her voice, and made a scene that left my mom feeling humiliated and extremely anxious.
