RDU as an airport is top notch. I am however VERY disappointed in the notion to get rid of the forested area surrounding, including the closing of the most heavily visited parks in the county. The natural areas surrounding the airport could be used as revenue generation, and the marketing opportunity of an urban trail/recreation area IS MUCH MORE appealing and inviting to the current and future generations in line to use these facilities.
