Great airport, easy parking and the terminals are new, plenty of room and light/airy. Security was a breeze and getting to the gate, much better than CLT.
A small gem at RDU. Leave it to me to find this 3 days before moving. I think most of us who live here know of the observation deck at observation park at the airport. But the General Aviation Terminal is a hidden gem. Opened, I believe in 20013, it has an outside observation deck that overlooks the other runway and much of the general aviation activity. The inside is glassed is; it is open from 6am to 9pm daily; and on Monday thru Friday there is a cafe serving breakfast and lunch. All freely open to the public and parking ... read more
