Probably hands down the smoothest transition than any other airport in the country. Coming or going is a smooth and quick event.

Beautiful airport, and no traffic to get to the airport!
Best experience getting through security every time I fly through RDU!! I've found with mobile tickets and pre ✔ (which I usually get with United) , getting through security is a breeze! 5 minutes and I'm off to my terminal. Some employees are rude, then others are kind.
Having travelled in and out of major (and some very minor airports worldwide I can happily give RDU 5 stars! Easy to understand, very friendly people very well located and rarely any weather issues!
