For cerevisaphiles (ardent beer lovers), Raleigh Beer Garden is heaven. Touted to be the largest draft beer selection in an establishment in the planet, it boasts 366 taps of craft brew. The brainchild of Niall Hanley, a local restaurateur, it spans across three floors with patios and a rooftop. Built with the wood of pecan trees that stood on the site of the bar, it has a lovely rustic look to it. To get a taste of North Carolina beers, head to the first floor bar which features 144 taps. There is also a cocktail corner cal... read more

Excellent place to hang with friends.. the beer wall is mind boggling!
Our first visit to the Raleigh Beer Garden. We loved the atmosphere and many beer choices on tap. Our server was well informed and helpful with beer selections. We only did appetizers and all were fantastic. Looking forward to a return trip and will bring friends!!
Best beer selection on the East coast and great food !
Brought a 60 year old French friend's father visiting the USA for the first time to RBG and they refused to let a retired guy in because he didn't have a passport. SERIOUSLY, 60 YEARS OLD. If you're old enough to be retired maybe just maybe you should be old enough to buy a beer without bringing a passport in a bar... I visited RBG frequently, but this incident made Americans look bad kicking out a retired French guy because he didnt have a passport to validate his age. The Raleigh Beer Garden is pretty effin sweet. I recommend going and throwing back a couple pints.
Beautiful ambience, friendly staff, knowledgeable, but the food quality needs some work.
Business response:
Taylor --Thank you so much for the feedback, we will continue to work on it.
You go there for beer. Don't get the water cheese dip. It's water, cheese, and five slices of mini toast.
Business response:
Mike, Thanks for the feedback-- if you ever have an issue with the food please let one of the management team know so we can correct it for you and our other guest
The beers, so many beers. And that was only the one bar and I barely made a dent. Staff was friendly enough I was more focused on finishing up some film editing and getting it up for friends to see in Japan. PS first time in North Carolina was happy to see they didn't check me at the bathroom door.
Business response:
At least you made an attempt---You cannot succeed if you do not try!!!
Beyond friendly staff and great service. I was in town for the Rock and Roll Half Marathon but if I lived in NC, I'd be a regular for sure. Great food too!
Business response:
Thanks for the Love and a BIG Congrats on the the race
