Personally my heath conditions require a sensible doctor. Dr. Shanmugam looks for answers + is not afraid to bring in specialists. He's kind and thoughtful. One is in good hands. Even when the doctors office is extremely busy, Dr. Shanmugam will order laboratory tests and x-rays to rule out an emergency. The Shanmugam Team extends this doctors care and attitudes. I'm fortunate to have found him.

I've had knee pain for quite awhile. I've been dealing with it so long I'm worried I've really damaged it. I finally made an appointment at 4:15 on a Monday. I was not made to wear a gown for a proper examination of the area. I was met with the weakest handshake possible. I was not asked pertinent questions and felt like it was up to me to say everything. He was waiting at the elevator when I left. He clearly just wanted to go home.
Referring to Specialists or other care Physicians if he feels necessary and based on condition.
I felt he is very commercial and insists on repeated office visits that may blow up your office co-pays or deductible. Didn't find his diagnosis to be very effective and accurate.
