dr Desai tells u the truth and takes his time with his patients. I was operated on oct 12 and had a spinal fusion. I got awesome care from all involved. His office staff is as wonderful as he is. Couldn’t ask for better care
I’ve had multiple lumbar and a cervical surgery with Dr. Desai. He was always professional and caring.
Very disappointed. Had all information, was referred to Dr. Desai by my pain management Dr. In Bangor. Took months to get an appt. My appt was not set up with a Dr. Curry who is also a pain management Dr. My pain management doctor tried to bypass the visit with Curry so I could see Dr. Desai. Was told that was protocol. I was told to have various information when I came to my appt. which I did. Dr. Curry never took the complete info I brought. He barely even checked me out. I had shooting pain down my legs for almost a year and after trying physical therapy and spinal injections and no relief. I saw Dr. Desai and he performed a Laminotomy and the shooting pain was gone. I wish I had gone to him a year ago..I would recommend him to everyone. I am so pleased that someone I know recommended him to me. Courteous and caring for his patients..
He saved my life 2006. I'm walking because of him. Wonderful surgeon and wonderful person.
Dr. Desai was patient and professional. He didn't treat us with the utmost respect and even kept my very young daughter smiling. He offered treatment options without being pushy or forceful and was kind enough to actually take the time to provide my wife, a nurse, the details as I was in too much pain to keep track of all the details. On the morning of both my surgeries, he took the time to meet with us and review the surgery plan and to make sure we didn't have any additional or new questions.
