After my very first and unsuccessful colonoscopy, (no fault on anyone's part) I was told the office would call to reschedule my appointment. I waited three months and never received a call.I called and scheduled being told that I had to do a TWO day cleanse and not to eat seeds, nuts etc. for 2 weeks. (That's a very big deal to me). After waiting for months to see him after being recommended by a family member, I waited for over an hour past my appointment time to see Dr Joseph. In the roughly 20 mins I got to speak with him, he was argumentative, interrupted me more than once when I was speaking, and dismissed the things I was saying. We called Dr. Joseph's office at 8 a.m. Monday to request an urgent appointment and they tell us the next appointment is 8 months out. Now, we're not just anyone off the street. My wife and I both have history with Dr. Joseph. He sees her history and has insight into her problems. Yet when we call to be seen because of that problem we're put off for 8 months? My experience with Dr Joseph is a bit different than most. He barely asked me any questions and jumped to conclusions. In short, I had to get a second opinion on my condition and it was drug out with miserable symptoms. I do NOT recommend this dr.

After an abnormal ESO I selected Dr Joseph for a Consultation and EGD. This was done at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. I thought he did an excellent procedure. He gave me a through discription of what to expect. Afterwards he went over everything he found and what he did. He has a very professional bedside manner (very nice) as was all of the staff there. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been a patient of his for several years. He treats me with respect and always answers my questions. While he may be straight forward, he is very knowledgeable and an expert in his field. I highly recommend him. He has made a difference in my life. BJS

Made me do at home tests that insurance doesn’t pay for. Stated they gave me paper to check my insurance, but I don’t remember seeing it. If desk clerk would have told me to check, I wouldn’t have done them. Rip off. I don’t have $350.00 for 2tests. They probably make money off the tests and isxwhy they push them. Dr. Joseph is arrogant and body shamed me. Beware.

I would give no star if I could. Dr. Joseph literally woke me after my I colonoscopy with, “I saved you from colon cancer”. He said his office would call or email me with lab results. When I had not heard from him or his office after a week, I called and office staff told me no cancer in my results.
