Filthy restaurant. There was hair in my food that made me lose my appetite. Went to pay and saw a small cockroach crawling on the counter inches from the food.
Have known the South India family who runs the place for over 25 years. Only place I trust to eat in Downtown Miami. Heartedly recommend it for a delicious, well prepared meal. Beautifully decorated. Changed stars&review because I went today for a small bowl of dal and was charged $7.99! Refused to pay full price of a meal for just a bowl of dal and walked out

Unfriendly staff. The owner, Raja, was extremely rude and made us feel unwelcome. As we were about to leave because we didn’t want to deal with him, he told us to “take our kids to McDonald’s.” If you don’t want your vacation spoiled, avoid this place at all costs. I would not recommend it. We never discussed the price or asked for a $2.00 menu. We simply asked for two menus because one member of our family had a flight to catch and didn’t have much time.
